I met Paula and Philip when we were both founding donors of the Tibetan Studies Program at Stanford. Together we met H.H. The Dalai Lama and shared many joys and sorrows over the year. Paula and Philip attended my Danish Christmas Party every year, and were loved by everyone who knew them. Paula and I shared many aspects of our respective pasts, although we didn't know it when we met. I don't know how to cope with her loss. I really don't. Rest in Peace beloved friend, Mary Fischer
Paula was a dear friend of ours and a terrific supporter of contemproary art. She occupied a special place in the gallery world and will be sorely missed. Her great sense of humor, knowledge about all things art related and her smart interest in art work as well as the people she gathered around her made her such a unique individual. We are very sad to lose her.
Paula was my neighbor for 37 years. We always had an honest, lively and educational conversation when we met. Her joie de vivre is a model for us all. I suspect Heaven had gotten more fun with her arrival .
