I'm just now reading this (in June) - I love Kris' descriptions of her, she was a wonderfully eccentric individual - the best kind - I only knew her as Kris' mom, but saw her often at concerts or operas that Kris and I played together. Knowing Kris, and Heidi a bit, I would say Dottie passed the baton of creativity well! as a fellow musician I appreciate that.
