Party In Peace Dan... Dan Was the coolest! Palo Alto Icon! Enjoyed hanging out with him when he was available. He had a lot of friends and enjoyed hanging out. When their wasn’t a party or “Club” to go to ... he became the party. His smile could light up any room. He was also fun to hang with because he was a “Chick Magnet” :-) If only the walls of his apartment, behind the Palo Alto Post Office could speak... :-) plenty good times their for sure... And of course what I remember most about Dan, other than his good looks, voice, laugh, and smile... He had a “Risky Business” personality and he was a “Sharp Dressed Man” People like Dan really do live forever... he is part of so many peoples memories that live on today.
Danny has been what I consider my best friend. He was kind, unbelievably funny, fun, and above all he had heart. Another friend of ours was here the other week, and we discussed our ski stories with Danny. I never had so much fun on the slopes. Danny would take any challenging run with absolute courage and did not accept defeat. I’ve seen him fall hundreds of times, and when anyone else including myself would give up, Danny would brush off the snow and keep going. He did that in life as well. Danny loved Lori, and their bond has been amazing. His parents are amazing, and that Saint Patties day with G pa on the piano will never be forgotten. Danny has made me laugh harder than I’ve ever laughed before. I Love you Danny. I’ll see you in Heaven. I’m still trying to win our bet. Love, your friend, Patrick.
Dan was/is my friend and although I did not see him much over the last several years, we always had a sense of Brotherly love for one another. I spent a lot of time with Dan in my late teens and early 20's. Dan had a adventurous spirit and a boldness to go for it. One summer he convinced me to travel with him to Alaska to work on a fishing boat. We did not find our fortune on that trip working on the fishing boat but the experience is worth a lifetime of memories. That journey to Alaska added to the many absolutely classic interactions and stories with Dan. I had fun being around Dan. We sang, we danced, we laughed, we celebrated. I found Dan to be a sweet and generous person with a heart of gold. I cherish the many moments and memories I've had with Dan. I wish I could have said goodbye. I love you Dan!
Danny, I can’t believe you are gone. You always found a way to make those around you smile. We will miss your positive and infectious energy. Rest In Peace my friend.
A truly kind, and gentle soul. You will be missed! You made me laugh often and I will always cherish your love and hospitality. You let me spend the night many times, taught me how to finish, and always shared whatever you had. Thanks to Lorie too, who also helped me when I was in need. See you on the other side! Love always, Varsh
