Dear Murphy family, We have sweet memories of Charlotte over the years. She was an accepting and loving Mother-In-Law to our sister, Mickey, especially in each of their shared enthusiasm for baseball! May she be at peace now knowing she is well loved.

My deepest condolences to all the members of the her family, especially to Pierce Murphy, who was a co-worker at Menlo Park, when I met his mother. I always thought that she was kind person. May she rest in peace.

While I was an English teacher at Menlo-Atherton, Charlotte helped me in my English instruction by correcting my students' term papers. She was absolutely correct and I learned so much from her. I also learned about child raising as she had had 7 children and knew quite a bit. She often joined us for kids birthday parties and family events, such as my son's baptism at 6 years old. I am sorry I lost touch with her in more recent years. She was a great lady.
