Jean Chisholm Jones passed away quietly in the comfort of her Palo Alto home, embraced by family.
Jean was born to Scottish immigrants in the Bronx, New York, from whom she learned the values that sustained her throughout her life. A strong work ethic, integrity and personal responsibility were the hallmarks of Jean's life, both at home and at work.
Jean worked at Intel from its inception in 1968 to 1996. During her 27 year career, she developed innumerable personal relationships which she maintained throughout her retirement. A longtime resident of Palo Alto, she was an active member of the South Palo Alto Food Closet.
Jean is survived by her children, Charlie, Robert, Susan and Randy, and her dog, Bebe.
Jean, you always welcomed me in to your home when visiting Denise & Randy. I am very thankful Randy & Denise met. He was instantly one of our family too. May God bless Randy & Denise, Susan & Wilson, Robert & Robert & Charlie & his wife. May they wonderful memories of you.
