Greta Elizabeth Goth died in her home June 29, 2015. She was the loving wife of O.A. Goth, who preceded her in death in 2006, loving mother of Ted Goth and his wife Eivor, loving grandmother of Michael Goth and his wife Kristina, and loving great-grandmother of Grant and Saxon Goth.

Greta worked with her husband in their law office in Redwood City for over 35 years. She was well known in the San Mateo legal community and taught classes in office management and was a featured lecturer at Menlo College, College of San Mateo, San Mateo County Bar Association, Barristers Club, Legal Secretaries Association, management panels and various functions related the legal field.

Her expertise focused on legal secretarial and paralegal fields, office management, administration and computerization of legal forms. Her expertise was published in the New York Law Review Journal, at a time when computerization of legal forms was practically non-existent. She has installed computer systems and programs in numerous offices, and has been a consultant to a computer firm in establishing the requirements for computerization of legal forms.

She consulted with KNWZ Radio Station in Palm Desert, helping them to become computerized and establishing a system for their in-house accounting and work processing.

In 1952, Mrs. Groth, established and managed a real estate office for approximately 10 years, and during that same time she established a law firm. Since that time she has established and managed three additional law firms. She retired in 2004.

Visitation will be Sunday, July 5, from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm at Crippen & Flynn Woodside Chapel, 400 Woodside Road in Redwood City. Interment will be private. The family respectfully requests memorial contributions in Greta's name to your favorite animal rescue.
