Daisy Pang
Dec. 27, 1931-May 11, 2021
Honolulu, Hawaii

Daisy Yee Pang, former longtime resident of Palo Alto, passed away peacefully on May 11, 2021, and was reunited in Heaven with her husband of 65 years, Louis Pang (d. October 23, 2020).

Born in Shanghai, China, Daisy immigrated to Honolulu, Hawaii, when she was 13. She mastered English well enough to graduate at the top of her class at Maryknoll High School and St. Francis School of Nursing, both in Honolulu. Daisy married her high school sweetheart, Louis Pang in 1956 in Ann Arbor, Michigan.

Daisy spent her life caring for others as a registered nurse, church/community volunteer, and a loving mother/grandmother. While raising their family, Daisy and Louis shared a love of travel, music, ballroom dancing, skiing and attending Stanford football games. They retired to the Kahala Nui Senior Living Community in Honolulu, where Daisy made many new friends and took advantage of every craft, music and dance class offered. She was loved by many for her kindness, commitment to serve others, and sweet spirit. An incredibly talented artist, Daisy will be remembered for her creative and musical talents, her grace on the dance floor and her steadfast love for her family.

In addition to her husband, Daisy was preceded in death by her parents Francis and Joan Yee, and brother Francis Yee, Jr. She is survived by her brother, Johnson Yee (Elaine), sister Theresa Ko (Kenneth); five children: John Pang (Diane), Mary Hinson (Jim), Laurie Lamb (Jonathan), Julie Moseley (Jeff), and Teri Young; and five grandchildren: Jamie and Jace Moseley, Ally and Nick Hinson, and Malia Lamb.
